Meloni announces new government with two ministers from Varese: Giorgetti and Valditara

ROME – «The President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, has conferred the mandate to form the new government to Giorgia Meloni. She has accepted it and has announced the list of the ministers». The announcement came from the Secretary General of the Quirinale, Ugo Zampetti and it opens the door to the new centre-right government. Giorgia Meloni, the first woman PM in Italian history, and the ministers have sworn in on Saturday morning, October 22. 

The “Varese” ministers

In the list of ministers there is the return of Giancarlo Giorgetti, from Varese, who will be minister of Economy and Finance. But there is another politician from the province of Varse, it is the candidate of the Lega, professor Giuseppe Valditara, who will be Minister of Education.
